Glassblower and owner Corey Broman founded Glass Harmony in 2003. Corey opened his glassblowing studio in the back of an industrial garage at a Midtown Omaha location. Without his own art gallery at the time, Corey displayed his original blown glass creations in various galleries and art shows around the Omaha area.

In 2007, Corey partnered with another Omaha artist, long-time friend and painter Joe Liebentritt, to open Glass Harmony Gallery across the street from his glassblowing studio.

For Corey, his art and company name are inspired by another passion: music. When creating glass art, the delicacy, fragility and uniqueness of every piece creates a subconscious sound for him that resembles music, thus giving Corey the name Glass Harmony.

The artists at Glass Harmony Gallery welcome patrons to observe the entire creation of their art. Often times, you can see Joe painting in the gallery and can just cross the street to observe Corey creating works of art from molten glass. Glassblowing demonstrations can be set up with an appointment.

Craft Masters
Corey Broman - glassblower
Corey first discovered glassblowing as a 6-year-old vacationing with his family in Branson, MO. After seeing the gifted artists, he knew glassblowing was his calling. Corey started blowing glass in 1998. His career started at Crystal Forge in Omaha, NE taking classes from established glass artist Ed Fennell.

In 2000, Corey enrolled in the glassblowing program at Hastings College in Hastings, NE. Working as an apprentice to professor Tom Kreager, Corey was able to enhance his talents and skills by working in many different methods of glass making.

Corey has traveled to Italy, the glassblowing capital of the world, to observe the glassblowing masters in their exclusive studios. This trip allowed him to watch the difficult and extensive process of making Venetian glass, thus heightening his interest even more.

Joe Liebentritt - painter
Joe was introduced to the art world at a very young age. Joe’s mother, also an artist, encouraged him to develop his talents. Throughout his younger  years, he attended art classes outside of school, which fostered his talent. Frequent family trips to the Joslyn Art Museum also allowed his appreciation of the arts to grow. Joe received  numerous art awards and recognition during his high school years, along with a scholarship to the Kansas City Art Institute, where he attended college. There he continued his artistic growth and studied painting with Richard Mattsson.

Upon returning to Omaha, Joe got  involved in the local art community and was elected president of  his art group, The Associated Artists of Omaha. In addition to  regular exhibitions throughout the Midwest, He organized and  judged several shows before joining Corey at Glass Harmony Gallery. Joe often exhibits his artwork alongside his talented wife Rebecca, whose photography is also on display at Glass Harmony Gallery.
